A lot has been happening in the world of Godsticks recently, so let us catch you up.

September began with some more headline gigs across the U.K which were great fun. We played Southampton and Colchester, plus another ‘home’ gig in South Wales, this time in Newport. If you came along to one of the shows, we all send you a big THANK YOU for your support. Right now we’re playing live more than ever before, and we love it! All of us have been determined to get out on the road as much as possible, showcase the material from our latest album ‘This Is What A Winner Looks Like’ and give it a proper run. But that run doesn’t stop there…

Just a few days after we finished our U.K shows, we were announced as support for French prog rock trio LizZard for a selection of dates on their upcoming European tour in December. As you can imagine we are excited and raring to go! Godsticks will be joining LizZard in the Netherlands, Germany and Italy, as well as in London for 8 shows in total. It was way back in 2017 when we last had the opportunity to tour in Europe (supporting The Pineapple Thief on their first tour with Gavin Harrison), so we can’t wait to finally be going back. Pre-production and rehearsals for the tour will begin in earnest, but we also have the small matter of a seventh album to finish writing. That work continues too, so be sure to keep an eye on our social media pages for more snippets of us arranging new material. We will be visiting the incredible Rockfield studios in Monmouthshire again at the beginning of 2025, so watch out some new music to finally be released next year!
